The Envelope Printery of Ohio, Inc. was established in 2001 by Tony Gamellia — though his path to the envelope industry was far from typical. Tony began his professional journey in a completely different field, earning a degree from mortuary college and spending several years as a funeral director and embalmer at a family owned  funeral home.

While he excelled in that role, an unexpected opportunity arose when he started selling envelopes for a friend’s family business. What began as a side endeavor soon sparked a genuine passion. After gaining hands-on experience and insight into the industry, Tony made the bold decision to launch his own company.

Through hard work, determination, and long hours, Tony built The Envelope Printery of Ohio from the ground up. His mission was clear from the start: to create a company rooted in quality, reliability, and integrity — and he was committed to seeing that vision through. Today, that commitment continues to define the business.

In 2007, Tony’s son, Anthony, joined the company. Together, they’ve expanded the business into a respected and competitive name within the envelope printing industry. Now, more than two decades later, The Envelope Printery remains proudly family-owned and operated — continuing to grow, evolve, and thrive in the dynamic world of print.
